he Vale of Wylye are a self funding local pipe band based in Warminster playing the Great Scottish Highland Bagpipe with Drums.

Band members come from all over the South West of the UK and comprise a broad mix of expertise. The band is dedicated to the preservation of the traditional Scottish skills of piping. Our tunes list comprises of traditional and contemporary Scottish marches, jigs and hornpipes. For more information on our set lists and the music we play, view our tune list.

We are able to supply any of the following to enhance your event or function...

Mini-Band - Four or more pipers, one bass drummer and side drummers.
Pipes - Numbers as requested.
Drummers - Numbers as requested.
Solo Piper - In full Scottish dress.
Solo Drummer - In full Scottish dress.

For those wanting to learn the traditional skills of the Scottish pipe and drums, we meet in Warminster between 7.00pm to 9.30pm on a Monday and all are welcome - you're never too old or too young to learn...

We are always keen to recruit new band members, regardless of previous playing experience - enthusiasm, a love of traditional Scottish Pipe and Drum music and a willingness to learn is all you need!
